This morning I am doing the weekly food shop at 8am. It’s very quiet which I am thankful for…I think next week will be slightly different!
Having said that I only need my fresh vegetables and other perishables like milk, cream next week.
Shopping done, another list made of my forgotten items which I can pick up another day…They are not essential luckily.
I call my daughter to wish her a happy birthday, we chat for a short while before she has to take her youngest to a Christmas party, then it’s a quick walk to the beach for me Toby and Charlie.
I must say the beach was very quiet today…very calming!
Then back home to double check I have wrapped all the presents and I haven’t forgotten anything!…Another list made!
Where would we be without lists!
After lunch I wrap the remaining present. I am still waiting for one item to be delivered, I’m hoping it will arrive soon.
It’s been a day of double checking that everything is present and correct! Oh and more list making!

Just after lunch I open the back door to the beautiful sounds of birds singing, when I look there in a very bare tree is a Tiny Great Tit, he is singing his little head off, he only looks young, some of his feathers are still very fluffy and downy, but he certainly has a fantastic voice! Just Beautiful!

After tea, me and hubby set off to get my forgotten items on my list. We also take one or two photos of Christmas lights on our way
Things are looking very bright and sparkly out an about.

I can’t remember if I have mentioned previously. I was interviewed in October / November by the Telegraph News Paper. My story should be published in the Sunday edition …well I think it’s this Sunday!
I can’t remember much about the interview if I’m honest, the subject was Christmas, I think it was for their newspaper magazine…Stella.
It was one of my neighbours that reminded me this morning. So now exited and nervously waiting for Sunday to reveal the story.
